Provides access to nearly nearly 3,300 full text scholarly publications, including more than 1,000 peer-reviewed journals covering many business topics such as finance, human resources, international trade, economics, marketing, and information technology.

Dissertations and Theses  Social Sciences - Education
Definitive guide to more than 2 million U.S. doctoral dissertations and master’s theses from 1861 to the present, as well as thousands of international dissertations and theses. For recent publications, the first 24 pages can be viewed freely, and the full text can be purchased online.

ERIC  Search tips  Social Sciences - Education
Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, ERIC contains studies, research papers, and abstracts from over 750 education journals. It is the major clearinghouse for topics relating to education, adult learning, and training.

While the electronic databases and indexes are a convenient and expansive way to locate articles, there are also many books at Keffer and other libraries that will complement your research with background, details, and perspective you might not find in journal articles.

CLICnet is the catalog of Cooperating Libraries in Consortium (CLIC), a federation of the libraries of eight private colleges and universities in the Twin Cities, including the University of Saint Thomas. Books from other campuses can be requested online and delivered to the UST library of your choice.

WorldCat contains more than 62 million bibliographic records and 1 billion holdings contributed by more than 9,000 libraries around the world. This is a useful resource when you can't find what you need in one of the CLIC libraries. Books not held by CLIC can be requested via Interlibrary Loan.

The AHRD is a research academy devoted to developing and disseminating information on HRD topics.  Their site collects reports and papers on topics such as diversity training, leadership, and the expanding roles of technology.  Includes links to career planning and employment sites.

American Society for Training and Development   
The ASTD is a professional organization that conducts research and promotes public policy in the field of workplace training and learning.  Their Web site has information on current training issues and statistics, trends, knowledge management, legislation, and links to other resources.

Minnesota Organization Development Network
The MNODN is a professional organization committed to the highest quality practice and education of organization development professionals in Minnesota.  Their Web site includes a program guide, information on services, membership and newsletter subscription opportunities, and other resources.
