"ERIC" stands for the
Education Resources Information Center, sponsored by the
U.S. Department of Education. The ERIC database has
references and abstracts from over 750 education journals,
and other documents related to all aspects of education.
From it's beginning of operation in 1966 to the present, the
database has amassed over 1.2 million bibliographic records.
Assistance in searching ERIC can be found in the following:
Education Full Text provides
abstracts and indexing for 650 education journals and yearbooks, as well as some
books dating back to 1983. In addition, articles
from 270 of the journals are available in full text back to 1996.
