Education FullText: Guide to WilsonWeb
Accessing
Education Full-Text
This database is available to the UST community anywhere on
campus from our
library
web page, located at
http://www.stthomas.edu/libraries. Simply click on
"Online Databases", then look under Social Sciences for
Education on the Database Finder. When the list of recommended
databases for education comes up, Education Full-Text should
be second on the list. It's also available to UST students,
faculty and staff from off-campus through our
proxy server.

appear.

Icons:
A key to the icons appears above the search results. These

front of each record. Your options include:
1)
Click an icon for Full Text (HTML) or PDF to display
the complete document.
2)
Click the “Library Owns” icon to search CLICnet and
determine if any CLIC libraries own paper copies of the
journal.
3)
Click “WilsonLink” to see if the article is available
online in a different database/location.

Check boxes in front of item numbers if you plan to
print/save/email several records in a group.
Other options:

wish to view abstracts.

Printing options under
“Print Email Save” button:
Records: If you have marked some records, the “Records”
default will change to “Marked Set”. Select the second option
if you want to print some/all records in larger groups (#1 to
#xxx).
Fields: If you want the full text to print for a group
of records (if it is available), change this option to “all,
including full text……..”
Include: These are optional choices. “Search history”
is helpful if you need to come back and work on this search
later.
Nice feature: The “Estimate” button will give you an
idea of how many pages you will be printing.
Print: Send it to the printer!
There are additional choices to review if you are saving or
emailing records.
Export to bibliographic software: You have the option
of saving your references in RefWorks (available at St.
Thomas) or other bibliographic software. If you are
unfamiliar with RefWorks, go to the
RefWorks
Information page to start.
