University of St. Thomas Keffer Library

UST's Keffer Library is your home library.  Our guide to Library Resources for Professional Psychology Students and Faculty provides all the information you'll need to get started using the library, as well as staff contact information if you'd like additional assistance.

University of Minnesota Biomedical Library

The U of M's Biomedical Library subscribes to relevant print and electronic resources not available at UST.  To use their print reference books, print journals, or electronic indexes and databases, you must visit the library in person.  The Biomed Library's catalog is accessible via the Web from any location.  If you'd like to borrow a book from the Biomed Library, you may request it through UST's Interlibrary Loan (ILL) using this form, and we will obtain it for you.

The "About the Library" drop-down menu on the Biomed Library's home page contains links to information on the library's hours, location, parking, etc.

Key Databases

  • MEDLINEplus - This site contains extensive information about drugs, an illustrated medical encyclopedia, interactive patient tutorials, and the latest health news.  It also provides links to pre-formulated searches of the MEDLINE/PubMed database, allowing you to find references to the latest medical journal articles on your topic.

Commercial Products

Epocrates - At this commercial site, you can subscribe to one or more point-of-care reference products such as Rx Pro, an enhanced drug and formulary reference with integrated ID treatment guide and tools.  Epocrates's products are developed by clinicians specifically for use with PDAs.
