Your UST Computer Account
The use of online library resources
from off-campus is controlled by your
UST username and password. This is the same username and password that you use to access
your UST e-mail and other network resources. You must know your UST username and password
(and it must be currently valid) to use the EZProxy Server.

If you are a new student and wish to discover
your computer account username and password, or are a
returning student and wish to review your account, go to:
Changing Your Password/Password
Expiration
You can change your account
password at any time. However, all UST computer account
passwords are set to expire every 120 days and thus must be
changed regularly.
Users who log into machines
on-campus will receive a warning regarding password
expiration. For other users, If your account suddenly
stops functioning, this may be the explanation.
The EZProxy server can detect
expired passwords upon login. You should be served a
"Password Expired" error page which allows you to
change your password, and, thus, gain immediate
access.

Passwords
For security reasons, your UST password must:
- be at least 6 characters
long,
- include at least three of
the following: uppercase letters, lowercase letters,
numbers, or punctuation marks.
- Your password may NOT
include your first name, last name or username.
- Your new password may not
closely resemble any of your last 5 passwords
If your password has expired, you will not be able to access the
EZProxy Server until
you change it.
